Camp Sunshine was an incredible experience for my daughter and me. The week prior to camp, I believe I experienced every emotion possible. We both had a fear of separation anxiety, with mine being far greater than my daughter’s.
However, since her return from Camp Sunshine, I have seen so many changes in her, especially her increased self-confidence and independence. This weeklong adventure was most definitely a memory making lifetime experience for both of us. Thank you all so much for giving her this opportunity to look, act and feel like a regular kid, as she calls herself now.
